Re:Charged – The TikTok Women’s 6 Nations Show

In March 2023, Level was commissioned by the TikTok Women’s 6 Nations team to produce a weekly digital show that captured everything on and off the pitch around each match weekend of the Championship.

The short magazine style show would allow the TikTok Women’s 6 Nations’ biggest fans and content creators to feature strongly among fast-paced highlights of each weekend’s matches. It included trending topics from social media plus a weekly check in on the official fantasy game.

Level proposed rotating the show’s hosts to include non-English speakers and to allow some women’s players an opportunity to demonstrate their media skills in front of camera. This ensured greater inclusion for audiences across the six competing nations.

Siwan Lillicrap (Wal), Zoe Harrison (Eng), Elisa Giordano (Ita), Laura Di Muzio (Fra), and the duo of Rosie Galligan (Eng) and Lenaig Corson (Fra) were the adept presenters across the five shows titled ‘Re:Charged’.

The series featured former internationals Philippa Tuttiett, Sene Naoupu, Heather Lockhart, Lindsay Peat, Rocky Clark and Rachel Taylor along with contributions from Sara Orchard, Claire Thomas, Thomas Duncan, Stella Mills, Emma Wassell, Sarah Bonar, Zainab Alema, James Gardner, ‘Rugby With Amy’, ‘The Prop Life’ and ‘Chatty Prop’.

Co-producer was Ruth Lilley, editing by Zaki Pelz at Pixelworx. Additional on-site production provided by Laura Jane-Jones, Victoria Rush, Charlie Phillips, Caleb Mutombwa and Cian Tookey.

Published across the TikTok Women’s 6 Nations video and social channels, the shows attracted over 100,000 views.
